People cannot register in the site

Project wiki:How to use this web site
Description

I have set up the site so that people cannot register yet. This is on purpose because I need to do a couple of things before I open the site for registration:

1) I need to install a text captcha to prevent malicious registration by spambots. In all my other sites, the number of spambots registered outnumber the number of human registered :(

2) I need to code a small module to limit the characters that can be used as user name (e..g. the space character is currently allowed, but it will interfere with the future set up of the site).

Once those two points are corrected, registration will be closed. If you cannot wait to be registered, please contact us and we'll create an account for you.
