See the TED talk with Hans Rosling (2007). The was he brings stats to life is breathtaking.

Maybe we can achieve something equally eye catching (with blender?) for our projects...

In any case, it's inspiring.

This is his newest video. I didn't know about it. Thanks for sharing. :)

I meant one of his earlier videos, but the software and the style is the same, so this video is equally valid for my point above.

In addition to saying many insightful things, Hans Rosling also has a good sense of humor: I have solidified the laser pointer. :)
