end credits PIP, see:
#523: Kdenlive end titles PIP

i'm having problem with the end credits. The PIP transition pans during preview, but not during the rendering...
The old video I did last years still renders ok, with the same apparent settings...

I'll change to still shots for the end credits if I can't fix it. It doesn't matter that much at this stage.

#7

I fixed the end credit problem by rendering the end credits PIP in a separate kdenlive project, and imported the clip into the main project.

Meanwhile, I am trying to export the video as 640 x 480 , but mplayer scales it thus:

VDec: vo config request - 640 x 480 (preferred colorspace: Planar YV12)
VDec: using Planar YV12 as output csp (no 0)
Movie-Aspect is 1.75:1 - prescaling to correct movie aspect.
VO: [xv] 640x480 => 840x480 Planar YV12

I have to check the original dimentions of the original clips.

#8

To preserve movie aspect during playback, use:
mplayer -aspect 4:3 untitled.mpeg

Let's move on with the next version. I can still publish the old tests much later, once #541: kdenlive: wrong aspect ratio is fixed, if only for posterity, to see the improvement!
