In the first one (Blender_Majestic (Armature test)), I like the shadow effects in the haze.

Well, even with a simple cube scene, I am not able to reproduce the volumetric shadows.

Here is another fine tutorial about creating volumetric shadows under water. It's not exactly what I need, though.

TODO: try this advice from Mathieu/Clémentine:

One solution would be to add a plane in front of the camera and apply a cloud texture to this plane.
Then, animate this texture by key framing the offset, or with an Empty (Map Input: Object>Empty).
